Job description

Position Overview

To support day to day activities in the Portfolio Management and IT Finance matters.

Role & Responsibilities

Portfolio Management
1) Support to identify IT strategic needs and projects for the institution and consolidate into the workplan
2) Support IT project team to ensure compliance to governances
3) Support annual work planning reviews with stakeholders, and prepare annual IT workplan agreement for approval
4) Support IT governance meetings, including collating and reviewing of presentation slides
5) Collate, track and monitor institution project status for reporting
6) Support to align with SingHealth CIO Office PMO for cluster projects
7) Review and verify project supporting documents
8) Admin work and any other assignments assigned by CIO and/or RO.

Business Finance
1) Support and work with CGH Finance and SingHealth CIO Office to ensure governance for IT investment and expenditure
2) Manage and track institution’s IT spending and provide regular financial status updates and reports to relevant parties
3) Assist to prepare annual budget and forecast of institution’s IT spending for CAPEX and OPEX, and perform monthly analysis of total IT spending against budget for management reporting
4) Review and verify project cost before financial approval and update budget utilization file
5) Coordinate and support IT audit activities and asset sighting/disposal
6) Review and verify IT related purchase requisitions in Ariba system
7) Review and verify IT related Accounts Payable Invoices in APIMS system
8) Review and verify PC leasing requests
9) Work with RO to ensure timely asset capitalization and verify IT assets for existence and impairment annually or when required
10) Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities
11) Assist to manage IT chargeback
12) Any other assignments assigned by CIO and/or RO

Requirements

1) General diploma/degree with experience in an IT or healthcare industry

2) Meticulous and has an eye for details

3) Strong financial modeling, analysis, budgeting and forecasting skills

4) Intermediate level proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint

5) Experience in minutes taking or report generation is an added advantage

6) Strong communication skills with the confidence and maturity to interact effectively with people at all levels

7) Proactive, assertive and adaptive to changes

8) Results and customer oriented with strong multi-tasking capabilities
