Plant Technician / Operator (Power Plant / Contract / Jurong Island)

About the role:

• Contract based
• Rotating Shift

Responsibilities:

Support site commissioning team for smooth plant start-up and commissioning.
Operate the plant systems such as pump and fans according to the instructions of commissioning team.
Monitor the operating condition of the plant and if some problems are found, notify the commissioning team.
Take actions for any problems for the plant commissioning and operation according to the commissioning team’s instructions.
Work shifts depending on the progress of commissioning.

Requirements:

Minimum G.C.E. “O” level or Higher NITEC.
5 years' experience.
Experience in operating power plant either under commercial operation or commissioning period.
Proficient in Computer Skills e.g. MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of basic power plants design.
Excellent team player, good people and communication skills, safety oriented.
