Plant nursery supervisor

Job Responsibilities

1. Plant care: Monitoring seedlings and trees, ensuring they have enough water and nutrients, and applying pesticides.
2. Maintain nursery upkeep: Ensure that the nursery is well maintained and compliant with all laws and regulations.
3. Plant selection: Selecting seeds, bulbs, and cuttings, and determining the types and quantities of plants to grow.
4. Purchasing: Selecting and purchasing seeds, plant nutrients, disease control chemicals, and garden and lawn care equipment.
5. Quality improvement: Developing and maintaining a positive attitude towards the quality of products and services rendered to customers.
6. Production methods: Evaluating, documenting, costing, recommending, and implementing new and improved production methods.
