Job Description
- Ensure that paperwork for planned task has been printed. Accountability check of work package received from Pre-Planner.
- Ensure that all tools & equipment required for the workplan tasks are available and serviceable.
- Ensure that all preloads for the work planned tasks are issued and readily available.
- Liaise/co-ordinate with various departments, customers, and sub-contractors to ensure timely availability of parts, spares/kits and components.
- Review individual task card / worksheet and place them in the correct designated slots pertaining to specific aircraft nomenclature.
- Prepare daily detailed updates of individual aircraft status including status of Task Cards (routine and non-routine), Gantt Chart and status of Defect Rectification Cards (DRC).
- Control and track the aircraft paperwork throughout the period of the aircraft maintenance.
- Verify all completed documents/task cards for completeness in the filling in of details including correct supporting documents.
- Assist the PM to coordinate daily customer meetings and compile daily meeting minutes and provide daily status reporting to customers.
- Monitor projects’ status to ensure that timelines are met and manage customer requests.
- Upon receipt of a work stoppage notice, coordinate with other departments to review for any alternative solutions.
- Provide logistical support in the Doc Room and ensure discipline in the Doc Control Room including cleanliness and tidiness.
- Enter data in the company computer systems to account for completed tasks.
- Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for any service request.
- Any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.
Technical Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- At least 2 years in the aerospace/aviation industry preferred.
- Able to work well with Microsoft Excel and possess good basic computer knowledge.
- SAP and Microsoft Office application is an advantage.
