Planning Engineer (Shipbuilding)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the scheduling and planning for assigned shipbuilding projects
• Maintain Project documentation including planning documents, schedule updates and progress reports
• Analyze Programme and verify programme updates
• Maintain change matrix including variations and other events
• Develop and monitor progress measurement tools such as histograms, S curves and KPI
• Perform Critical path analysis
• Analyze mitigation strategies and assess the effectiveness
• Assess potential schedule impacts due to scope changes or delay
• Review progress reports and report to management

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of shipbuilding process, fabrication techniques and relevant industry standards
• Expertise in project management software like Primavera 6 (P6), Microsoft project
