As a SMAI Planning & Ops Planning Digital Twin Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for leading innovation and new frontier technology for operations connection Planning, Operation and Supply Chain, driving and delivering end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions, integrated across functions of the business. The team will apply industry-leading solutions in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance planning processes, capital investment efficiency, cost reduction, and inventory optimization.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Initiate, develop and deploy smart manufacturing applications to optimize capex efficiency and transform the planning process.
• Influence and develop data science AI, ML applications to identify opportunity areas and prescribe actions to maximize output efficiency and optimize cycle time performance.
• Integrate solutions and applications across production planning, IE planning, and supply chain departments to deliver high business value and efficient solutions.
• Design implementation & resource plans during project execution.
• Provide technical consulting and hands-on assistance during deployment. Assist in the troubleshooting of escalated application issues and provide solutions and/or coaching for resolution.
• Evaluate third-party software, hardware, and vendor selection, if appropriate.
• Coordinate vendor engagement and drive project collaboration internally and externally at Micron.
• Stay current with area-specific business practices with business stakeholders.
• Promote and drive BKM adoption and produce scaling and standardization across the network.
• Lead research in and keep up to date on the latest developments and trends in data science tools and techniques.

Requirements

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related field.

Experience in Semiconductor industry, Industrial Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, Operation Research, or related field is essential.

Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

Prior knowledge in data science is preferred but not a pre-requisite.
