Physical Education Teacher (Tampines Campus / July 2025)

Job Description

1. To develop and conduct effective lesson plans to teach physical education appropriate for the primary/secondary age group;
2. To plan and implement appropriate PE programmes to support and enhance children’s understanding of health, physical exercise and safety;
3. To assess, observe, record and report on student progress in their physical development (gross and fine motor skills and coordination), including writing student reports and attending parents meetings;
4. To obtain and maintain appropriate sports equipment, in collaboration with the respective staff of the preschools;
5. To conduct appropriate after school clubs as assigned;
6. To participate in any school events as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Education or higher from an accredited institution;
2. Relevant qualifications in Physical Education or Sports Science (preferred);
3. An understanding of and experience in working in an IB Programme, Cambridge IGCSE and A Level is desirable;
4. Excellent verbal communication skills;
5. Strong motivational skills;
6. Possess patience and extensive knowledge of physical fitness, sports and exercise;
7. Minimum of one year or more teaching experience.
