Job description

We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer to join our team, responsible for capturing high-quality images during media events, corporate gatherings, and travels with the COO. This role requires frequent travel and involves photographing high-profile events, including press conferences, interviews, public appearances, and social media content creation. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in photography, from shooting to editing, and be familiar with social media posting requirements to ensure content is optimized for various platforms. All necessary photography equipment will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Media Event Photography:

  • Capture high-quality images at media events, interviews, press conferences, corporate gatherings, and public appearances with the COO.
  • Ensure the images meet the company’s professional standards and align with its branding.
  • Work with the team to capture key moments for social media content and media outreach.

2. Travel and On-Location Photography:

  • Travel extensively with the COO to domestic and international locations, capturing key moments, events, and team activities.
  • Adapt to various environments, including public events, corporate venues, outdoor locations, and media setups.

3. Social Media Content Creation:

  • Capture engaging and shareable images suitable for the company’s social media platforms.
  • Be familiar with the specific requirements of various social media platforms (e.g., image dimensions, resolution, style) and optimize content for posting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with the company’s social media strategy and branding.

4. Editing and Post-Production:

  • Edit, retouch, and enhance images using photo-editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Organize and maintain a digital library of images for easy access and reference.

5. Collaboration with Team:

  • Work closely with the Social Media Team and Head of Marketing to ensure all visual content supports project needs, media outreach, and social media objectives.
  • Adapt to specific photo requests and creative direction during events.

6. Equipment Management:

  • All necessary photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories, will be provided by the company.
  • Ensure the provided equipment is well-maintained and ready for use during events.
  • Stay updated on the latest photography trends and technology, recommending upgrades when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional photography experience, especially in media events, corporate settings, or fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in post-production editing and managing large volumes of images.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using DSLR cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment (all provided by the company).
  • Strong knowledge of photo editing software, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Familiarity with social media image posting requirements (dimensions, resolution, style).

Attributes:

  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong eye for composition, lighting, and color.
  • Ability to work efficiently and adapt to dynamic schedules, often with short deadlines.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and working in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to work well with a team, follow instructions, and execute creative directives effectively.
