About WellAway E-Pharmacy
WellAway is Singapore’s first and only HSA-registered e-Pharmacy. Our mission is to enable all healthcare stakeholders by providing utmost accessibility to medications. Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will be joining a dynamic team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants in running daily operations, ensuring safe, accurate, efficient, and timely distribution of drugs.
Subject to the interest and qualifications of the candidate, he/she may be considered for an Executive Track to assist in other portfolios of WellAway such as Business Development, Product Design, Inventory Management, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Process prescriptions or medication orders
- Plan, deploy, and monitor logistics/delivery services to customers, including time and date of pick-up and deliveries
- Assist the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor in inventory management, such as cycle counts and stock take
- Handle any e-pharmacy related enquiries via email, messages, or phone call
- Handle other administrative and billing enquiries.
Candidates for the Executive Track will also obtain exposure to the following:
- Analyse prevalent trends, dynamics, and market movements to grow the E-Pharmacy business
- Plan and deploy marketing campaigns and materials
- Implement campaigns that enhance customer experience (for both Healthcare Professionals and Patients)
- Work with the technical team to improve user experience on the WellAway platform (for candidates with suitable IT experience)
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and/or a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician by the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore
- Able to work on a shift basis, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- 1-2 years of working experience in the healthcare industry (experience in frontline patient interactive roles is an advantage)
- Meticulous and organized
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suites and their advanced features (e.g., Excel Macros)
