Payroll Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of Payroll Specialists, ensuring the team is equipped with sufficient resources to meet client demands and operate at optimum levels.
• Ensure the team is knowledgeable in handling client queries promptly, particularly regarding their proficiency with the BIPO platform.
• Oversee the full spectrum of payroll processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery for clients.
• Work closely with stakeholders to create necessary interfaces and ensure accurate data flow.
• Collaborate with managers to improve process flow and ensure the team's deliverables.
• Oversee payroll audits with internal and external auditors.
• Ensure proper handling of confidential client data.
• Drive the team towards a more customer-centric environment or working culture.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders on process improvements and launching new initiatives.
• Be the payroll process and product expert; continuously and proactively learn about BIPO’s products, services, and updates.
• Stay updated on changes in statutory requirements and ensure payroll compliance with these changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Information Systems preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Payroll.
• Experience in people leadership is advantageous.
• Ability to manage Mandarin-speaking clients as required.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and upgrade skills.
• Passionate about learning Information System Solutions.
• Disciplined individual who works systematically and is attentive to details in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset, process-driven, and capable of providing solutions to operational requirements.
• Customer-centric focus and confidence in dealing with clients at all levels.
• Experience with payroll software and Singapore payroll experience is advantageous.
