Responsible for the full set of payroll and administrative duties.
Accountabilities:
1. Payroll
Responsible for handling full set of payroll duties / liaising with Payroll Vendors (end to end) for SEA Countries & Australia.
Back up of payroll for NEA Countries (Japan, Taiwan & Korea) and liaising with Payroll vendors for NEA.
Ensure all payroll timeline is adhered to and accuracy is met for all salaries paid.
Partner with Human Resource Manager to ensure all due diligence of payroll and other relevant HR administrative activities.
Responsible for new hire process (preparation of IT assets, collection of supporting documents and creation of digital P-files).
Assist in letter preparation (eg. Confirmation letter, certification, Visa application etc).
Manage employee termination and resignation procedures and maintain records for payroll purposes.
Update, maintain and ensure that all employees information and employee life cycle are accurately updated into the payroll system (such as new hire details, staff movements, salary adjustment, cessation etc).
Responsible for monthly payroll run, covering payroll and overtime final computation, uploading bank file, generating pay slips, etc.
Maintain understanding of current Human Resources Management practices and ensure compliance with local policies and local labor laws and regulations to minimize litigation issues.
Process statutory contributions and claims (tax submissions including withholding tax, childcare, maternity, staff claims etc).
Prepares and handles other relevant reports such as monthly payroll report vs annual payroll budget and quarterly forecasts.
Provide the applicable payroll related reports to Finance.
Handle all employee queries on payroll matters and resolve discrepancies (if any).
Handle tax clearance and claims focal point – insurance, medical, maternity leave etc.
Submission of employees’ annual income tax submission and MOM/Government surveys.
Support annual and ad-hoc internal and external payroll audits.
Support in payroll projects whenever necessary.
Prepare and submit employment and work passes and visa applications.
Prepare and reconcile headcounts with Dayforce.
Handle exit clearance process with leavers on their last day and ensure all company assets are returned.
Support Payroll Go-Live (Dayforce) across APAC.
Any ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.
2. Administrative duties:
Support in general administrative duties (office pantry, office cleaner, aircon, etc) that may be assigned from time to time.

Skills, knowledge & behaviours:
At least 6-8 years’ of relevant experience.
Possess good knowledge and understanding of labor legislations, employment laws and statutory requirements.
Proficient in MS Office and Excel applications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, and positive towards fostering teamwork among associates in support role.
High degree of self-motivation and initiative.
Experience in payroll systems (SuccessFactors or Dayforce) will be an added advantage.
Able to meet tight deadlines, and may be required to work overtime where necessary, especially during payroll processing and month-end closing.
Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity whilst maintaining confidentiality of Human Resource department.
Able to work well under pressure, service-oriented and has an eye for details.
Highly organized and capable of prioritizing tasks.
