DOO you have what it takes?

What you’ll be working on:

  1. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  2. Ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions related to exchange, remittance, or card-issuing operations.
  3. Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  4. Manage payment flows, including fund settlement, reconciliation, and chargeback processes.
  5. Collaborate with payment service providers, card networks, and financial institutions to resolve payment discrepancies and optimize operations.
  6. Supervise the end-to-end management of client and vendor payments.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, such as anti-money laundering (AML), payment card industry (PCI) standards, and local remittance rules.
  8. Liaise with regulatory authorities and prepare periodic compliance reports.
  9. Mitigate risks through effective monitoring and management of financial controls.
  10. Drive the automation of payment and reconciliation processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  11. Identify areas for improvement in financial workflows and implement best practices in the payment industry.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive.
  13. Work closely with internal teams, such as operations, compliance, and IT, to support payment-related projects and initiatives.
  14. Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, including banks, regulators, and auditors, to address financial and operational concerns.
  15. Develop team members’ skills and knowledge in financial operations and payment industry practices.
  16. Ad-hoc assignment delegated by the immediate superior.

What we’re looking for:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA/ACCA qualification is a plus).
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the payment industry, with a strong background in exchange, remittance, or card issuing.
  3. Proven experience in managing financial operations, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance.
  4. Strong understanding of industry-specific regulations, including AML, KYC, and PCI compliance.
  5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  8. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high-volume transactions and tight deadlines.
  9. Leadership skills to guide and motivate a team.
  10. Advanced written and verbal communication skills both in English and Mandarin.
  11. Inquisitive with a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity.
