Parts Sales Executive (Indoor)

ALATAS Crane Services Worldwide is a worldwide operating crane specialist and offers crane related services in the Ship-, Offshore-, and Construction industry.

With our global set-up, we offer field service, provide technical solutions for emergency repairs, large scale overhauls, load testing, inspections, component repairs, spare parts supply as well as supply of new cranes and upgrades to existing ones.

Our specialized Crane Service Engineers are professionals in their field and are available to attend to crane problems throughout the world.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Handling enquiries from Ship Managers and Offshore Customers worldwide.
• Quotations, order processing, issuing supplier PO & shipment arrangements globally.
• Coordinate between Customers, Suppliers & Transporters/Forwarders for smooth parts delivery while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Liaise with Service Manager/Service Engineers on parts required to support field Service Engineers for local and overseas jobs (Urgent basis).
• Meet up with Suppliers in Company’s premises to build and maintain rapport.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous purchasing experience of marine parts with either a Ship Manager or a Ship Chandler required.
• Technically knowledgeable in Marine Spare Parts from experience accumulated from previous employments.
• Interested in learning hydraulic, mechanical & electrical parts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment; independent, responsible & driven to close Customers' orders.
• Excellent communication skills to build and maintain rapport with Customers worldwide.
• Singaporeans only.
