PARTS MANAGER

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Source for new business development of MG parts to non-dealers.

2. Expanding the non-dealers’ network beyond existing pool of non-dealers and improving sales of parts to non-dealers.

3. Improve and stretch Retail, Internal and Workshop parts sales.

4. Set objectives (KPI), train and motivate team members to strive and meet KPIs.

5. Prepare annual operational budgets for the department.

6. Establish pricing structure for each customer category, such as Retail, Workshop, Body shop, Fleet etc.

7. Support Sales Dept on tenders pertaining to all part-related requirements.

8. Achieve parts service-rate of > 90% and at the same time minimize inventory obsolescence.

9. Achieve parts inventory turns 5 to 6 times per year.

10. Manage day-to-day parts operations.

11. Enforce workplace cleanliness and safety, and ensure rules and regulations are always adhered to.

12. Liaise with principal and supervise stock orders procedures.

13. Support Sales and Service requirements; include sales campaigns and add-on local accessories, service instructions and technical recalls, etc.

14. Initiate and coordinate with IT Dept on MG Parts Digitalization Journey.

15. Analyze parts sales, expenses and overheads to ensure financial objectives are met.

16. Work closely with the Service Dept and Body Shop on parts availability and timely delivery.

17. Handle customers’ complaints related to parts operations. For example, part availability, parts pricing etc.

18. Keep abreast of regulations and logistic requirements on all EV related parts. For example, High Voltage Battery etc.

19. Any other reasonable duties called upon by Management.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years parts management experience especially in non-dealer sales.

2. Forklift licence is preferred.

3. Class 3 licence.
