Overview

As a key member of the Singapore Leadership Team, you will be the primary point of contact between our Partners and Advisers (financial planners) and St. James’s Place (SJP). This role provides you with the opportunity to develop, support and coach our Partners and Advisers, helping them grow their businesses. You will have responsibility for ensuring that new and established Partners carry out their activities and grow their Practices successfully, making a significant contribution to helping SJP achieve its ambitious growth objectives and strategic vision.

This exciting growth opportunity will suit an experienced financial professional who has significant experience in driving sales performance and leading teams, a passion for coaching and developing people, and a proactive approach complimented by a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Advisers’ skillsets, knowledge, and commercial acumen to enable them to perform their roles capably and competently, providing high quality advice and high standards of ongoing service to their clients.
  • Working with our Partners, enabling them to create and realize strategic business plans for their businesses, identify and implementing initiatives and processes for managing, engaging, and expanding their client base.
  • Manage relationships with existing and new Partner businesses, including helping them maximize their business potential within St. James’s Place, leveraging the significant resources available within the SJP Group and supporting the achievement of corporate growth targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met, and advice delivered to clients remains is of the highest quality.
  • Provide a distinctive development track and create a culture of excellence that inspires and encourages Partners to engage, consult and continually enhance their advice skills, business plans, systems, marketing, people management and quality of advice.
  • Assisting Partners and Advisers in operational issues for their business, ensuring the highest standards of client experience are achieved.
  • Provide support as required for Partners and Advisers to help them achieve their professional qualifications and maintain knowledge through CPD.
  • Support the recruitment and selection of highly skilled Advisers and their onboarding, ensuring fast starts and sustainable business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry including sales experience in financial advisory.
  • Proven experience in running sales teams and delivering revenue targets.
  • Excellent people management skills with good communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability of manage projects and requests end-to-end.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of salesforce would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Singapore financial advisory market, with relevant industry licenses a plus.
