Part Time Relief Laboratory Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Prepare the Practical Work (TP) for the physics-chemistry teachers: prepare the necessary products, the cart with the material and install the material and products.
2. After the TP: put the material used on the cart, clean the material and put it away in the lab, treat the chemicals (recovery in the waste bins or conservation).
3. Manage materials and products: inventory broken or defective materials, outdated products or insufficient quantities, make minor repairs, update the list of materials and products available in the laboratory.
4. Purchase equipment and products: request quotes from local suppliers, purchase commonly used products from the store, check equipment and products upon receipt of the order.
5. Request intervention from the maintenance and IT department when necessary.
6. Manage waste.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the laboratory.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

1. Min Diploma.
2. Scientific training in physics and chemistry or significant experience in the field.
