Part-time Lecturer (Sociology).

The School of Social Sciences, Sociology Programme is looking for Part-time Lecturers (PTL) who will be responsible for conducting tutorials and assessments for a course.

We invite applications for part-time lecturers to conduct tutorials in Sociology courses in, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Deviance and Society
• Person and Society
• Population and Society
• Statistics

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend all lectures.
• Conduct tutorials and assessments for a course.
• Grading of Course Assessment/Exam Scripts.
• Invigilation for final examination.
• Work closely with the Course Coordinator and handle students’ queries on course related matters.

Qualifications:

• At least a Master’s Degree.
• At least 2-3 years of teaching experience at a tertiary level with excellent teaching evaluations.
• Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents are preferred.
