The Master of Arts in Translation and Interpretation Programme (MTI) at NTU is seeking experienced part-time instructors who excel at teaching courses on translation, localisation, project and data management. A proven track record of practical experience in handling corporations and clients at multinational, regional and local levels, with the knowledge of applying cutting-edge project management tools and software are preferred.

The instructor’s responsibilities include:

1. Designing the course syllabus
2. Conducting lectures and student consultation
3. Designing assignments
4. Administering assessment and grading
5. Providing constructive feedback to support student learning

Requirements:

1. Demonstrable experience in teaching and curriculum development in higher education.
2. Candidates should have a master level of T&I (Translation and Interpreting) degree and/or postgraduate level degree of project & data management.
3. Preference will be given to candidates who have strong industry experience in translation projects management.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate is expected to use both Chinese and English as the medium of instruction and to commence duty as soon as possible.
