Our client is a Public Listed company in Oil & Gas, Marine Offshore Engineering. Due to fast expansion, they are actively seeking for Painting Supervisor Cum Inspector.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with the specifications, control and monitor the activities
• Responsible for quality control of all painting works, including standards and procedures
• Prepare documentation like painting procedures, ITP, galvanizing procedures, or any other procedures specified by clients
• Review painting specifications from paint manufacturers
• Take the ambient conditions in the chamber and modules with proper intervals and keep records
• Arrange qualification tests for Blasters/Painters and certify them
• Check for calibration dates of the measuring devices, and arrange for recalibration if it expires
• Send inspection notifications to respective clients on time
• Pre-inspect modules at each stage and ensure quality meets the specifications
• Prepare painting reports on time with approval from clients
• Coordinate with external parties for technical details

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marine/shipyard operations or related field
• Possess a valid NACE Level II or III Coating Inspector certificate
• Knowledge of blasting and painting operations
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and paint specifications
• Detailed understanding of contractual, commercial, safety, technical, and quality aspects and their application
