Outreach & Project Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

To assist in the operations of the Senior Activity Centre and the execution of the community project to assist the Seniors-in-need.

Community Project

• Build partnerships with healthcare providers, social service agencies and other community organizations to help fulfil Seniors’ needs;
• Refer and link Seniors-in-need to partner service providers;
• Assess effectiveness of services.

Outreach Activities

• To conduct activities to Seniors within the community service boundary to promote the Senior Activity Centre and raise awareness of community services;
• To engage Seniors to understand their needs and seek feedback;
• Befriend and buddy identified Seniors;
• Plan and organize activities;
• Help recruit and manage volunteers;
• To maintain and update information and referral services records.

Job Requirements

• Possess minimally GCE ‘N’ Level;
• Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Senior Activity Centre or in volunteering experience;
• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin, and able to converse in Chinese dialects and Bahasa will be an advantage;
• Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Passionate about helping the Seniors in the community.
