Job description

Tesla is seeking an experienced operations candidate to run its Order Operations team. The team owns a variety of processes related to vehicle sales and delivery, tracks all orders from the point of deposit to revenue recognition and to manage the vehicle registration process. In addition to ensuring team success, this role is expected to collaborate with regional and functional management to ensure Order Ops is providing exceptional support to internal departments, creating the best customer experience possible.

What You’ll Do

  1. Collaborate with key stakeholders in Sales, Delivery, Logistic and Operations to improve current work flow processes and minimize errors. Initiate and carry out automation programs to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
  2. Provide and drive internal cross-functional operational solutions for new business models and sales initiatives to ensure effective implementation.
  3. Manage all aspects of the vehicle registration process for customer and internal vehicles, including the Land Transport online system, number plate management, accurate calculation of local fees and charges, document generation and reconciliation of all related fees and payments.
  4. Manage the Certificate of Entitlement bidding and application process.
  5. Ensure accurate record keeping and form generation in compliance with local vehicle trading regulations.
  6. Establish regular performance reviews of new programs to track outcomes against goals.
  7. Prioritize and manage multiple projects, while adhering to business-critical deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  8. Develop Order Ops internal process documentation and guidance for customer facing teams.
  9. Participate in global projects as and when needed.
  10. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by line management.

What You’ll Bring

  1. Experienced within an order operations/ logistic or related role.
  2. Self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has a great attention to detail.
  3. Strong understanding of CRM systems and a successful track record in leveraging IT resources to support more efficient sales-related processes.
  4. Proven ability to work well with others in a team and build and maintain relationships with external vendors.
  5. Demonstrated high levels of problem solving skills.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  7. Proficiency in English and fluency in relevant local language required.
