Job Description
Master Oracle Database administration and cloud infrastructure management
Manage and perform database migrations with Microsoft SQL Server
Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions
Support application and database environments within a 24/7 on-call schedule
Design and manage cloud-native solutions and application development
Design and implement cloud infrastructures aligned with business needs and industry standards
Maintain and evolve infrastructure roadmaps and strategies while adapting to changing client requirements
Create and execute migration strategies for workload transitions to cloud platforms
Establish transparent and regular communication with all stakeholders
Support clients during their business hours across different time zones (North American, European, or other)
Work effectively within the Infrastructure Support team
Manage client relationships and understand their technical needs
Monitor and ensure security of clients' cloud infrastructure
Perform database migrations and transformations
Implement best practices for cloud technologies
Support both on-premises and cloud environments
Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years of Oracle Database administration experience, with solid experience in cloud infrastructure and solutions (OCI, AWS, and/or Azure).
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Preferably with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certificate
Experience with Oracle solutions (APEX, Forms/Reports, EBS, WebLogic) and technologies (Docker, Tomcat).
Possess knowledge of cloud-native concepts and market trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and clients at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguous situations, and thrive in a dynamic, growing environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach are essential.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent priorities.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English to effectively communicate with global clients and partners.
Willing to accommodate and work across different time zones (North American, European, or other) when required.
Willing to travel and work at customers' sites when required.
Ability to communicate in French is highly preferred, but not a must, to communicate with French-speaking clients.
