Optometrist

Responsibilities

1. Perform eye examinations using specialized equipment for diagnosis and testing.
2. Provide professional advice and solutions to customers.
3. Communicate with customers to get detailed case histories.
4. Present good knowledge when explaining the features of contact lenses.
5. Dispense and manage the inventory of contact lenses, trials, and solutions.
6. Maintain patient eye health and purchase records.
7. Maintain good condition of equipment and measuring devices.
8. Ensure smooth running of daily shop operations.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in Optometry.
2. Fully registered with Singapore Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB).
3. At least 2 years of experience as an Optometrist.
4. Able to commit to retail hours (11 am to 8.30 pm), and work on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
5. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
