Operations & VM Lead [Retail / East / Permanent]

RecruitFirst is hiring! We are looking for passionate and energetic talents as an Operations & VM Lead to join my client in the Retail Industry!

Job Description

1. Oversee and support execution of key operational and visual processes.
2. Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the Brand Manager to escalate process or system gaps.
3. Champion strong visual standards for the salesfloor by leveraging business performance data.
4. Support sell-through management by ensuring accuracy of inventory counts and coordinates labour hours to efficiently receive product deliveries.
5. Coordinate with the Store Manager and Brand Manager on the process to upkeep the stockroom organization for the purposes of restocking and replenishment to optimize sales opportunities.
6. Support a safe work environment and efficient operation.
7. Represent the business in meetings and on conference calls, in partnership with the Brand Manager on the aspects of store design, layout and operational excellence.
8. Review, monitor and partner with Brand Manager to manage the budgets, reporting and business data; including metrics (e.g. Expenses, sell-thru) and inform future planning processes (e.g. business reviews and sales & operational planning).
9. Future planning workflow for optimal performance and productivity.
10. Ensure that the Operations and Visual team exudes the brand’s mission and values to effectively communicate to our clients.
11. Lead a team through accountability, continuous coaching on a regular basis, development of talent, and elevating effective communication throughout the Operations and Visual team.
12. Develop and run an effective schedule that prioritizes the best business strategy, in partnership with the Brand Manager.

Requirements

1. Min 3 years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership position.
2. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
3. Strong business acumen with a focus on KPIs, sales performance, and operational excellence.
4. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
