Operations Technician

About the role

This is a full-time Operations Technician role based in the Tuas West Region. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation in wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructures.

What you'll be doing

• Performing regular inspections and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment equipment

• Monitoring and adjusting treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations

• Collecting and analyzing water and wastewater samples to assess treatment performance

• Troubleshooting and resolving any operational issues that arise

• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all activities

• Assisting with the implementation of new technologies and improvements to treatment processes

• Collaborating with the wider engineering team to optimize plant operations

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications in water/wastewater engineering or a related technical discipline

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an operations technician or in a similar role within the water/wastewater industry

• Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Proficient in the use of relevant software and monitoring systems

• Good communication and teamworking abilities

• A safety-first mindset and commitment to environmental compliance
