Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for leading the manufacturing and packaging process of high-quality finished goods, cycle times, and the improvement of manufacturing efficiencies. This role is responsible for overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution, and 3PL operations, implementing operational policies and procedures, and overseeing security operations, ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment. Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees and ensuring the safety of staff.

  • ADDITIONAL DIMENSIONS:
  • Working with EHS officer in enforcing safety standards and procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
  • Managing daily general and hazardous waste disposal and declaration.
  • Preparing and adhering to the company’s operations budget.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing the competencies of the warehouse staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • CORE RESPONSIBILITY
  • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy and conduct cycle count and lead stock take activity.
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • CORE RESPONSIBILITY
  • Overseeing local delivery to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Responsible to investigate delivery error/complaint with corrective action.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must have at least 5 years of warehouse management experience. Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or equivalent.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time. Prior work experience in the paint or chemical processing industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of materials and inventory management.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office.
  • SYSTEM ACCESS: Oracle
