Main Responsibilities:
To lead and manage at least one operation of company’s logistics operations (Warehousing & Transportation) including monitoring and achievement of Operation Key Performance Index i.e. Order Accuracy, Safety, Housekeeping and Security of Operation, Warehouse turn-around-time, Billing and documentation, Inventory Management (Control, Accuracy and level), Overtime Ratio & Labour Productivity.
Review and management of Revenue & Expense of operations including Continuous monitoring of expenses, Accurate application of revenue, Negotiate and reduce costs on hired contractors, verify and authorize payment(s), Continuous sourcing of contractors, management & maintenance of assets and maximize profitability.
Review of Operation status with customers & management on a timely and regular basis.
Provide management report on operation status and budget figures on a timely and regular basis.
Manage and Develop the entire operation team: Staff training plan, Recruitment of operations staff, Staff development activity and Ensure efficient communication between inter-departments.
Managed all related matters pertaining to facility, safety and security issues.
To maintain good working relationships with customers.
Assist sales team in securing new business, including; conduct of facility tours, presentations on operations, site visits for customers to present capabilities and/or gather data and coordination effort with engineering and IT teams.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or equivalent; Diploma Holders of similar fields are also considered.
Minimum total 8 years working experience with minimum 4 years in the Logistic Industry, preferred in similar capacity.
Good working knowledge of the following operations areas – distribution, inventory planning, network analysis, materials management.
