Conduct morning briefings and updates, and the delegation of duties to Team Leaders
Provide budgetary updates to the Finance Department
Oversee the timely preparation of monthly schedules, i.e. standby, night service
Oversee and follow-up on the consolidation of feedback from the respective teams as well as families and clients, reviewing the feedback/ complaints received whenever necessary
Oversee quality control matters pertaining to standards, rituals and customs
Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
Oversee the review of standard operating procedures (SOPs), forms, templates and lists to ensure operational efficiency in consultation with Team Leaders
Plan and review compensation actions, enforcing policies and procedures.
Oversee morale, welfare and health of all operations staff
Oversee human resource matters together with Team Leaders, including leave approval, overtime and urgent requests (if any).
Oversee recruitment and personnel interview
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Managing Director (MD)
Job Requirements:
At least 5 years’ operation manager experience, comfortable to work in funeral industry
Requires to work on weekends and Public Holidays
Advantageous if candidate possesses Class 3/3A driving license
