Operations Manager - Digital Payment Tokens

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our new DPT unit. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, optimizing workflows, and driving efficiency in all aspects of our brokerage activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including customer support, compliance, tech and finance, to streamline processes and enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

• Oversee and manage daily operations, including KYC onboarding of customers, settlements, and customer transactions.
• Monitor systems to ensure smooth execution of transactions and manage any technical or operational issues that arise.
• Coordinate with IT and development teams to optimize the technology platforms.

2. Compliance and Risk Management:

• Implement and monitor compliance policies and procedures in line with industry regulations.
• Work with the legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to AML/KYC requirements.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate operational risks.

3. Process Optimization:

• Analyze existing operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and ensure seamless operations.

4. Customer Support and Issue Resolution:

• Manage the ops team to liaise with customer support teams to resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in escalated customer concerns, providing solutions, and implementing corrective actions.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare regular operational reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, risk areas, and recommendations.
• Track key metrics related to trading activities, system performance, and customer satisfaction.

6. Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the operations team, providing guidance and support to drive high performance.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the financial services industry, preferably in a crypto brokerage or related fintech environment.
• Strong understanding of crypto trading, blockchain technology, and back-office operations. Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including AML/KYC processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-department collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with financial platforms and exchanges, especially with DPT operations.
• Knowledge of international financial regulations related to cryptocurrencies.
• Strong network within the crypto industry.
