Job description

SUMMARY:

The Operations Manager assists the Branch Manager in monitoring security personnel's site performance in delivering quality services. Liaise with clients on all contract matters, including work planning, performance monitoring, complaint handling, training, emergency services, and equipment acquisition. Coordinate the clients’ requirements with the Company to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and profitability for the company.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and oversee site leaders, supervising site operations and ensuring efficient operation on a day-to-day basis. Plan the daily deployment schedule to ensure the contractual headcount requirement is fulfilled. Ensure security personnel follow the SOP at the site and meet the customer’s contractual requirements.

  • Assist in overseeing security matters at the sites.
  • Assist in enforcing & implementing security measures.
  • Support the conducting of security briefings for new employees and workers.
  • Maintain emergency preparedness procedures and processes for emergency situations.
  • Maintain Crisis Management Rooms, SOPs, equipment and instructions.
  • Meet with clients to resolve issues & prepare meeting minutes.
  • Manage shortfall & deployment of officers.
  • Ensure operations capability of all assignments assigned to the individual person.
  • Update clients on daily manpower deployment.
  • Monitor daily attendance and ensure security personnel punctuality at respective assignments.
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients through regular visits & responses to feedback.
  • Ensure all security personnel deployed at the respective assignment are familiar with the SOP.
  • Conduct On-the-Job-Training (OJT) for new personnel deployed to the site.
  • Carry out spot checks at respective assignments and ensure strict compliance.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to site security personnel as and when requested.
  • Respond to all emergencies at respective assignments (24/7).
  • Carry out schedule night checks at specific assignments.
  • Stand in at assignments as and when required.
  • Put up the handover form at least 1 week before handing over assignments.
  • Conduct the security risk assessment.
  • Schedule and attend meetings with clients and put up minutes thereafter.
  • Involve in incident investigations on site.
  • Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures and ensure that employees understand and comply with these laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • To perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Effective time management to deliver projects on time and that meet expectations.
  • Ability to receive direct or indirect instruction in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form and act upon such instruction to accomplish a given task or project. In the event of unclear instruction, must have the ability to ask for clarification without prompting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented workplace where judgment and professionalism were necessities.
  • Capably working under pressure while maintaining a professional image and approach with internal and external customers.
  • Thorough understanding of standard operating procedures and practices.
