Operations Manager

Report to: Senior Operation Director

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead, manage & overview operation and site team.
2. Work closely with Project Team on the execution and handover on all projects.
3. Prepare Project Schedule.
4. Liaise with clients and consultants on projects and attend meetings with Project Team.
5. Identify the need for carrying out a formal design control, verification, and validation program for work established by tender or contract requirements.
6. Evaluate, review and check all the details design system and coordinate with project manager and consultants to ensure the completeness and functionality of all services.
7. Manage all work in accordance with approved design, material used, and workmanship in compliance with contract specifications.
8. Lead & manage operation teams.
9. Utilize material usage that is fit for project specifications.
10. Ensure that project schedules are met on time.
11. Rectify & resolve project site issues.
12. Review, monitor and continuously improve project management system, workmanship, and quality of work at site.
13. Actively participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties when required.
14. Solve on-site issues and address customer's renovation issues/problems.

Requirements

1. Able to communicate effectively with clientele as well as suppliers.
2. 3 - 5 years of similar experience in the above environment.
3. Recognized Engineering Degree in related field.
4. Ability to manage projects from strategic and detailed planning, concept and detailed design, and to demonstrate leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communicator with well-developed commercial, analytical and technical skills.
6. Value support and cultivate cooperation among colleagues (Team Work).
7. Preferably with experience in commercial projects.
8. Possess class 3 driving license would be an advantage.
9. Safety knowledge with certification will be an advantage.
10. Bilingual is preferred. Fluent in written and spoken English and basic spoken Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking counterparts.
