Operations Lead (Inventory | Government Project)

Job Summary:

• 2 Years Contract

• Up to $5K

• Travel within Singapore

• Located at Changi, Tuas and Sembawang

• 8.00AM to 5.45PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of stocktakers in executing inventory stocktakes.

• Develop and manage the annual stocktake schedule for inventories located at Changi and Tuas Naval Warehouses, including RSN Unit stocktakes.

• Coordinate with relevant authorities to generate monthly item lists for stocktaking based on predefined schedules.

• Oversee the creation of stocktake Physical Inventory (PI) records in the Authority System and Enterprise System (ES), ensuring proper interfacing and creation in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Lead and guide the stocktaking team in conducting physical counts and data entry via WMS, including on-site counts at RSN Units/Ships.

• Monitor the completion of PI processes and ensure accurate data entry into the ES system.

• Liaise with Authority Points of Contact (POC) to generate Discrepancy Lists (SD Lists).

• Collaborate with the warehouse team to verify and resolve any discrepancies identified during the stocktake process.

• Prepare and compile monthly and annual stocktake reports for submission.

• Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Site or Program Lead.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, stocktaking, or inventory control.

• Proven experience in leading or supervising a team.

• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Systems (ES).

• Familiar with creating and managing Physical Inventory (PI) in logistics software.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and schedules effectively.

• Willing to travel to different sites within Singapore.

• Possess own transport would be advantageous.
