Operations Executive (Ship Spares Logistics)

Job Description

Basic Function

The incumbent will assist on Ships Spares logistics operations, creating jobs, providing customer service, and adhering to all safety and security procedures at the airport office premises. You will be involved with all customer requirements from A-Z.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

1. Assist to give prompt and accurate responses to RFQs and any other general inquiries from GAC’s overseas networks and local departments.
2. Take full ownership of all operational logistics requirements from booking/pre-alert to PO management, delivery, invoicing, and customs clearance.
3. Ensure proper cargo handling, shipping documentation, expediting, and timely alerts to agents, customers, and contractors in Singapore and beyond.
4. Prepare, suggest, and maintain customer Standard Operating Procedures.
5. Create job files and invoicing to clients.
6. Ensure timely billing from vendors and verification of supplier invoices and job costing.
7. Achieve and improve KPIs set for the department.
8. Provide support to obtain and collate information for tenders when necessary.
9. Other functions as appointed.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experiences

1. Tertiary qualifications
2. Minimum 2-3 years in logistics operations function (Marine & Ship Spares Logistics experience highly preferred).

1. Street-smart and proactive.
2. Very good multi-communicator and listener.
3. Possess high integrity.
4. Good knowledge of the freight forwarding and energy project industry with an interest in continuous learning.
5. Good team player.
6. Able to build rapport and good relationships with clients.
7. Location: Alps Avenue.
8. Singaporean/PR.
