To hunt for business to achieve department's budget and target.
To improve business development and maintain relations with overseas agents.
To liaise with local sales/customers to grow the business and handle their shipment (i.e., providing booking confirmations, conflict resolutions, billing instructions etc).
To attend enquiries from overseas agents and customers.
To provide timely quotations to agents and customers, and follow up with the shipment activations.
To provide and oversee sales leads to oversea agents and keep track of the progresses and outcomes.
Collate customer's business trends, progress and statistics.
To handle projects/shipments and support current project manager.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Arrange and attend overseas agents and customers' sales calls/meetings/visits.
Handle RFQ / RFP / tender bid.
To handle any ad-hoc projects/ assignments from time to time.
Provide constructive opinions and suggestions for work improvement.
Job Requirements:
Diploma and above in Business Management, or in a relevant discipline.
Preferably with min. 2 year of working experience in logistics/ freight forwarding.
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
