This is one of the largest oils & gas companies in the world and is involved in the production and distribution of refined petroleum products. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Executive for the LPG team in Singapore.

Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Executive role requires close collaboration with traders to ensure the seamless execution of all cargo operations. This involves efficiently passing on cargo nominations to all relevant parties in a timely and accurate manner to avoid any delays or miscommunications. The position also includes regular communication with terminals and counterparties to ensure that product loading occurs on schedule and in accordance with contractual terms. Additionally, the role requires reviewing and countering contracts based on detailed deal recaps, ensuring that all terms are aligned with agreed-upon conditions. A thorough understanding of trade finance and billing processes is essential, ensuring that these functions are executed accurately and without any issues. The position also involves checking, updating, and maintaining operational data within the system, ensuring the integrity of data for accurate analysis and reporting.

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Maritime Studies or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in energy cargo operations. Experience in LPG operations is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of petroleum product operations, logistics, and inventory management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration across teams and with external stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
