Job description

Location: Ubi (Vertex)

Human Resource Responsibilities

  1. Arranging for interviews for new applicants
  2. Facilitating staff onboarding process
  • Preparation of employment contracts
  • Uniform measurement
  • Health screening
  • Security clearance by SCDF/SAF
  • Assisting in the process of contractor passes from SCDF
  • Submitting monthly schedule to SAF
  • Conducting orientation programs for new staff
  • Processing claims (Medical/Dental/Transport)
  • Monitoring and computing of leaves (Annual Leaves, Childcare leave, Sick leaves)
  • Maintaining and updating staff personal files
  • Keeping track of compliments and complaints for staff
  • Organizing events (Retreat, Best Crew Award, etc.)
  • Facilitating exit processes for resigned staff (compute leaves balance and recover contractor pass)

    • Planning, Monitoring, and Scheduling of Courses and Certification Tests for EMS Crew

    1. Basic Cardiac Life Support
    2. Automated External Defibrillation
    3. Standard First Aid
    4. Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
    5. Emergency Vehicle (EV4) Course
    6. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course

    Logistic Responsibilities

    1. Assisting in delivery of medical items or supplies (Ad-hoc)
    2. Assisting in receiving of medical items or supplies (from vendor)

    Any Ad-Hoc Duties Assigned by EMS Managers

    1. Sealing keys for SAF Casualty Collection Point’s gates
    2. Handling administrative work in Fire Stations or Fire Posts
