Operations Executive (Bukit Merah Depot)

Purpose and Scope

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our operations team in achieving business goals. As an Operations Executive, you will be responsible for depot operational matters including daily deployment of drivers and crews.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the daily deployment of drivers and crews
2. Assist with daily planning of days and nights routes and CRM bin deliveries
3. Conduct site visits and attend to complaints from the public and clients
4. Carry out accident investigations, accident reporting, and any other related issues
5. Conduct Toolbox Briefing
6. Check vehicles and ensure all are in proper working condition before deployment
7. Monitor crews’ discipline and attendance
8. Compile and monitor sector tonnages
9. Audit routes and report excess refuse
10. Supervise crews/vehicle movement and routes
11. Assist in customer relations
12. Report and follow up with Town Councils / NEA
13. Coordinate logistics matters on special projects
14. Work together with the HSE Team and assist with the maintenance of overall depot safety and movements
15. Collaborate with Fleet Management on vehicle planning issues for inspection, etc.
16. Uphold company assets including vehicles, first aids, and spill kits
17. Perform coverage of duty when there’s a shortage of manpower (driver/crew)

Key Skills, Competencies & Behaviours

1. Completed GCE O level / Diploma in any discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in Logistics / Operations Management
2. Preferably with own transport
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
4. Preferably with Class 4 license
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills
6. Able to commit to rotating weekend/Public Holiday duties and rotating early deployment duties as early as 6:30 am
7. Able to commit to mid-shift working hours: 2 pm to 11 pm
