Operations Executive

Responsibilities:

1. Deal with clients and ship-owners relating to post-fixtures, ensure proper follow-up and update on daily operations.
2. Handle dry cargo loading and discharging operational & document procedures.
3. Resolve disputes, negotiate costs and handle claims between clients and ship-owners.
4. Have knowledge/experience of shipboard operation, cargo loading and disputes.
5. Have knowledge of different Charter party, laytime and some trading/legal terms.
6. Report to the Head of Operations on all operational activities.
7. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Min Diploma holder with 1-2 years of related working experience in marine industry (Dry cargo / Ship-owner).
2. Candidates with more than 3-4 years’ experience in Dry cargo operations will be considered for a senior position.
3. Able to work independently, responsible and manage multiple priorities.
4. Hardworking and able to work under pressure.
5. Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
