About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operational Manager to lead content creation and speaker engagement for our flagship events, including the annual Business and Philanthropy Forum. This role is critical to curating compelling content and fostering relationships with high-profile speakers, ensuring our events resonate with global audiences and meet the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee content strategies for key events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and themes.
• Collaborate with thought leaders, researchers, and creative teams to create compelling and innovative content, including agendas, white papers, and post-event reports.
• Conduct research on emerging trends and topics to propose relevant and engaging event themes.
• Manage the production of multimedia content (videos, articles, interviews) to promote events and engage target audiences.
• Identify, approach, and secure high-profile speakers, including industry leaders, academics, policymakers, and philanthropists.
• Act as the main point of contact for all speaker-related logistics, ensuring a seamless experience from invitation to post-event follow-up.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with speakers and their representatives.
• Work closely with the program team to design speaker sessions that align with the event narrative and audience expectations.
• Create and manage detailed project timelines for content development and speaker coordination.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams (event planning, marketing, logistics) to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
• Monitor budgets and expenses related to speaker engagement and content production.
• Manage a team of content creators, researchers, and administrative support staff as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in content creation, event management, or speaker engagement, ideally in a global context.
• Proven experience in working with high-profile individuals and curating content for professional forums or summits.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in research and analysis to identify relevant topics and trends.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Creative thinker with the ability to craft innovative content strategies.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
