Operation Manager (Investment Industry) JM50

Job Description:

1. Be able to perform end-to-end Equities, Mutual funds, and Options Transactions/Corporate actions.
2. Check and verify that all securities/trade transactions are completed, and settlements instructions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Review all trade matching reports and ensure all failed trades are promptly resolved.
4. Ensure funding sufficiency for trade settlements.
5. Reconciliation of trade/shares, corporate actions for Equities, Mutual funds, and Options.
6. Adhere to control procedures, identify gaps, and ensure controls are implemented to close those gaps.
7. Setup of Options/Mutual funds process flow with a counterparty and streamline the process.
8. Interpret data and make recommendations for the launch of new products/services and upgraded platforms.
9. Manage, escalate, and resolve all requests/inquiries/issues/errors and identify policy gaps to formulate policies that streamline processes.
10. Participate in project initiatives and take up ad hoc tasks as required.
11. Support change by assisting in devising and implementing improved processes and global entity operations function.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience with more than 6 years of relevant experience in Equities or Derivatives in either retail or institutional.
2. Trade support/settlement in either stockbroking firms, custodian/banks, or clearinghouse.
3. Possess knowledge and experience in Equities/Options/Mutual funds, etc.
4. Understand the entire trade flow from front to back and the reconciliation process.
