Job description

Salary: Up $4200 + AWS + VB

Duration: 12 months (Extendable / Convertible)

Working Location: Loyang

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

Purchaser (50%)

  • Request quotations from vendors for materials/services for our rigs.
  • Issue Purchase Orders under instructions from the Procurement Manager.
  • Scan, keep, and file all certificates pertaining to the purchases.
  • Arrange hardcopy certificates and data books to Ops offices.
  • Assist in new suppliers’ registration.
  • Check and update received tax invoices.
  • Track the delivery status of items and update Ops offices.
  • Prepare shipping documents such as commercial invoices and packing lists for exportation to countries where rigs operate.
  • Prepare shipping markings.
  • Arrange for exportation of materials to overseas warehouses for rig operations.
  • Local material transfer arrangements.
  • Track shipments.
  • Work in tandem with the warehouse supervisor.
  • Forward consignment notes, airway bills, and bills of lading to designated personnel for customs clearance.
  • Highlight any discrepancies between shipments and purchase orders.
  • Keep track of shipment numbers for each purchase.
  • Update the PRQ Status File.
  • Take note of incoming shipments and arrange for clearance.
  • Update importation and exportation of courier, seafreight, and airfreight accordingly.

Warehouse Ops (50%)

  • Day-to-day receipt of materials from suppliers for our rigs when needed.
  • Conduct physical checks on the materials upon receipt when needed.
  • Perform item visual checks and photo-taking when needed.
  • Pack materials for shipment to respective rigs when needed.
  • Be accountable for items packed into boxes when needed.
  • Keep records of inventory materials in the warehouse and yard.
  • Receive items on the Oracle inventory system under our buddy-buddy support system.
  • Ensure there are no mis-shipments and that all materials are accounted for.
  • Supervise or attend to loading and offloading of materials.
  • Attend to inspectors conducting offsite inspections.
  • Coordinate trailer, crane, and forklift bookings.
  • Maintain the yard and warehouse on a day-to-day basis when needed.
  • Carry out equipment maintenance work as per rig office requests.
  • Assist Supervisor in ensuring HSQE requirements are satisfied.
  • Be on standby during public holidays for any operational emergencies.
  • Perform all other ad hoc duties as instructed by the direct supervisor.
