Responsibilities:
Arrange collection and delivery of international air import freight.
Handle operational, routing, and customer service responsibilities for shipments.
Use preferred truckers and vendors to identify solutions based on rates and service.
Coordinate with shippers, consignees, and air carriers.
Complete all required import documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
Enter import shipment details into the system.
Review and process documents; follow up with origin offices for clarification and resolution.
Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
Provide classification recommendations to customers with proper approvals.
Prepare and coordinate all required import documentation.
Respond to customer inquiries about import milestones, shipment status, and charges.
Ensure responses to customer inquiries stay within company guidelines.
Escalate complex or uncommon issues to a manager when needed.
Process billing and invoicing for shipments.
Requirements:
Min 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
