1. JOB PURPOSE
To work with the Operation Manager and meet the KPI set for the organisation, from a range of responsibilities, including grooming, attitude, parking, prompt scheduling (as according to protocol set), and riders and drivers management.
To strengthen relationships with all drivers, riders, and customers by delivering a high standard of service and support.
2. DIMENSIONS
- Direct support to Operation Manager
- Working closely with customers, riders, drivers, and Operation Manager
- Responsible for riders and driver grooming, parking, on-time scheduling, finding replacements for down riders, building rider strength, and informing OM of any riders/drivers related issues
- Responsible for all feedback from customers and communication to Operation Manager
- Able to drive a van and do deliveries as a backup plan. Must have class 3 license.
3. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, AND TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
At entry:
- At least one (1) year experience working in Logistics Operation or last mile delivery
- Experience of working as a team
- A good team player and able to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Ability to work to a high standard under pressure to ensure deadlines and targets are met
- Strong administrative and word processing skills, proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, and familiar with preparing PowerPoint presentations
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good writing skills
- Comfortable using Apps
