Ensure overall efficiency of day-to-day operations of business, including compliance with operational procedures and standards. Liaise with external parties to ensure smooth operations. Ensure the company is protected against loss, financial or otherwise, and profits are maximized and costs are kept in control. Implement initiatives to counter against undesirable situations and circumstances such as rising costs, increasing staff turnover rate, inadequate skill, customer complaints, and potential threats to business such as terrorist attacks and fire. Lead role in managing the sub-contractors for the task. Involve in the thorough review of method statements and risk assessments and technical submissions for structure construction and tunneling works for Client's approval. Responsible for the safety, quality, progress, and environmental impact of the works. Prepare reports for submission to the Client. Daily site activities planning, preparing work breakdown, daily site operations, site coordination, monitoring and reporting work progress. Work closely with sub-contractors on project progress and ensure timely work arrangements. Liaise with consultant and carry out site inspection. Attend weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors on work progression and prepare monthly meeting progression report.
Review all project and vessel related documents from an operational standpoint for tenders and projects.
Provide the necessary operational support during planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and close-out stages of the project life cycle.
Manage and liaise with vessel captains, clients, subcontractors, and own internal team, while working together with the onshore management team during offshore campaigns.
