We are looking for a technically skilled and self-motivated On Site Equipment Maintenance Specialist to support the maintenance, repair, and servicing of small to medium-sized construction machinery in both workshop and on-site environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with equipment such as wire saws, wall saws, floor grinders, power floats, grout pumps, spray pumps, core drills, floor saws, scarifiers, and similar machinery.
This role involves hands-on mechanical work, coordination with internal teams, and direct engagement with customers during equipment servicing or troubleshooting at job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine inspection, alignment, maintenance, servicing, and repair of the company’s rental and owned construction equipment.
Perform on-site equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and repair at customer locations, ensuring minimal downtime.
Maintain, service, and repair customer-owned machinery as part of aftersales support.
Prepare and manage spare parts inventory for scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.
Lead and coordinate maintenance workflows, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
Document and update service reports, equipment condition logs, and maintenance records accurately.
Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and functional requirements for equipment quality inspection and customization.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace safety, health regulations, and company standards.
Collaborate with the sales, rental, and customization teams to provide technical input and post-delivery support.
Attend safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment.
Undertake ad-hoc technical or operational tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining construction or industrial equipment.
Familiarity with small to medium-sized construction machinery, especially power floats, floor grinders, saws, pumps, core drills, scrubbers, and scarifiers.
Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
Experience working both in workshops and on construction sites.
Proficient in reading technical manuals, equipment schematics, and service documentation.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Good communication and coordination skills to work with customers and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with in-house technicians and customers.
Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (preferred) for travel to site locations.
