OIL & GAS SALES ENGINEER (MARINE SECTOR) – Gul Drive, Singapore

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing the existing offshore drilling customers, developing a strong B2B relationship based on our superior service reputation.
• Provide on-site technical sales support to customers, troubleshooting application and hydraulic drilling hose solutions on all types of offshore equipment.
• Work with internal service departments to ensure we continue to provide superior customer service on-site.
• Identify and acquire new business opportunities in the oil and gas market with a major focus on long-term service contracts.
• Develop a new customer base and increase our market share while maximizing new business development opportunities.
• Achieve sales revenue, profitability, and sales growth targets.
• Ensure timely collections of overdue payments from customers under their responsibility.
• Proactively manage clients and follow up to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Applicants must have the following skills & attributes

• Minimum Diploma qualification with at least 6 months experience in industrial/engineering sales (preferably from within the oil and gas industry).
• Ability to manage and develop an existing customer base individually.
• Technical/mechanical knowledge of offshore equipment is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Dynamic, resourceful, and result-oriented.
• Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization, and time management skills.
• Able to write documentation and possess coordination and analytical skills.
• Constantly striving to offer the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Proficient in MS Office/Excel.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with awareness of deadlines.
• Hands-on with a 'can-do' attitude and willing to work in onshore/offshore environments.
• Willing to travel on short notice when necessary.
