[What the role is]

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator. As a central bank, MAS promotes sustained, non-inflationary economic growth through monetary policy and macroeconomic surveillance. It manages Singapore’s exchange rate, official foreign reserves, and banking sector liquidity. As an integrated financial supervisor, MAS ensures a sound financial services sector through oversight of financial institutions, maintaining well-functioning markets, and promoting investor education. MAS collaborates with the financial industry to enhance Singapore as a dynamic international financial centre.

[What you will be working on]

We are looking for a meticulous individual to join the Leadership Development team. This team designs and implements initiatives to develop current and potential leaders, including talent identification and leadership development programmes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist staff attached or seconded to external agencies and provide administrative support for their deployments.
  • Manage and track staff secondments, attachments, and postings to ensure a smooth process.
  • Coordinate the assessment process for scholarships, sponsorships, and other staff awards, including scheduling and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Manage finance and procurement processes like scholarship allowances, vendor payments, and budget tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records of scholarship and deployment agreements and related documents.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for leadership training, mentoring, and coaching sessions.
  • Support outreach and publicity efforts like scholarship fairs and events.
  • Collect talent-related data, including feedback from development initiatives, and support report preparation.

You may also have opportunities to assist in other HR areas.

This role allows you to contribute to talent acquisition and the professional development of leaders at MAS. The successful candidate will be a key part of our HR team, supporting our organisation's success.

[What we are looking for]

  • 3 – 5 years of HR experience, preferably in relevant roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective across all levels and with external parties.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Experience with HR systems (particularly Workday) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with procurement and finance processes in the Singapore public sector is a plus.
