Nursing Aide

Job Requirements:

• NITEC in Community Care & Social Services
• NITEC in Nursing
• HMI Institute of Health Sciences’ Certificate in Healthcare Support – Patient Care
• WSQ Certificate in Therapy Services and with relevant work experience in nursing care-related services such as Patient Care Assistant, Therapy Assistant and Porter
• Willing to work rotating shifts including night shift, weekends and public holidays

Job Description:

• Assist doctors and registered nurses in simple procedures/treatments under supervision
• Carry out basic nursing procedures such as wound dressing; document, monitor and record observations of residents and their vital signs, and report changes in condition to the registered nurse
• Supervise/assist residents in their daily needs (e.g., personal grooming and daily living activities)
• Accompany residents for outings/medical appointments

The Nursing Aide will report to the Head Nurse.

The Welfare Homes are for destitute persons. Location of work would either be at Bukit Batok, Admiralty Street, or Buangkok Green.
