Nurse Manager

The Nurse Manager leads the team to effectively coordinate, manage, and evaluate the services of the Home, ensuring that high standards of nursing care and resident safety are delivered at all times in accordance with legal, professional, and ENHS (Enhanced Nursing Home Standards) requirements.

1. Clinical

1. Accountable and responsible for the standards of resident care and management of the wards.
2. Serves as a resource person in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of health status and needs of residents.
3. Comply with policies and procedures related to the provisions of safe and ethical care to residents, including infection control, administration of medication, fire safety, and evacuation procedures, ensuring compliance among all healthcare staff.
4. Undertake teaching and resource roles in nursing practice for staff, providing continuous supervision to all healthcare staff on duty.

2. Management

1. Ensure the operational delivery of nursing policies is compliant at ward level and nursing home level.
2. Deputise for the Nursing Director in his/her absence as assigned.

3. Staff Development

1. Orientate and guide new staff nurses in the operation of the wards.
2. Identify healthcare staff’s potential for further development.
3. Ensure that the training and training hours of each nursing staff meet the requirements of MOH/AIC/LKHSC, etc.

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess a degree or diploma in Nursing.
2. At least 5 years of clinical and management experience.
3. Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
4. Strong project management skills and experience.
5. Thrives in a fast-paced environment with constant deadlines.
6. Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
7. Good communication skills and a team player.
