Job description
Responsibilities
Promote and support the professional practice and lifelong learning through the Community Training Institute (CTI) training programmes and relevant projects.
Develop, support and conduct clinical courses offered by CTI to the hospital staff and the Community Care sector.
Deliver coursework and practicum according to the curriculum developed by CTI and its partners.
Conduct competency assessment for learners based on the competency frameworks and standards.
Develop/co-ordinate in-service clinical education programmes with the objectives of meeting organisational and staff learning needs.
Ensure training programmes meet regulatory and accreditation standards set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other governing bodies.
Ensure curriculum and training programmes are based on the current competency approach.
Provide mentorship and coaching to junior nurse educators and preceptors.
Support the clinical placement of nursing students and ensure meaningful attachments.
Support the implementation of continuing education initiatives such as workshops, certifications, and postgraduate programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Education, or a related field.
At least 5–8 years of nursing experience, with prior experience in clinical education or training preferred.
Registered Nurse (RN) with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). Certification in nursing education (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Advanced Diploma in Nursing Education) is an advantage.
Certification in Training (e.g., ACLP; DDDLP) is preferred.
